Mel and Lynda recently sold my property before marketing of the property had formally started.
12 months before, I had requested an online appraisal of my property from them. The property was tired but in a great location. I decided to renovate taking the advice given by Mel about colours and presentation generally and used contractors he had recommended.
Renovations finished late November and then I chose Mel and Lynda to market the property beginning in January. However, by Xmas eve, I had a contract on my property. That contract was recently completed in February.
During the sale, we also developed a marketing plan as a contingency should the sale not have occurred and the materials produced were brilliant. We conducted one open home viewing and attracted more offers which weren’t needed after all.
I still cannot believe how smoothly the sale went and how quickly it occurred in what is a slow market. I attribute that success to the accurate advice given to me by Mel and Lynda and their professional approach to the whole process.
The original online appraisal provided me with a great base to then go forward to create a budget for renovation and to assign a figure that I was targeting for sale. The sales strategy proved spot on. The market positioning of the price worked and I was very happy with the outcome as were the buyers.
During the contract time, Mel and Lynda sensitively managed the interactions between myself and the buyers in ways which considered our needs. I was constantly kept in the loop of what was happening and both Lynda and Mel responded promptly if I had a query.
I was pleased to invite Mel and Lynda for a thank you drink after the completion of the sale where we also discussed the purchase of my next property.
As indicated, I will continue to seek Mel and Lynda’s assistance with my future Real Estate decisions.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Lynda and Mel to any prospective Clients who are searching for extremely professional, exceptional Agents to sell their properties.
My initial meeting with Lynda and Mel was with great trepidation as I was unsure as to whether I should be selling in this market or if selling in my circumstances was the right thing for me to do.
As most of my dealings were with Lynda, I can say in all honesty, there was not one occasion where she coerced me in any way to sell my property, all she wanted was what was best for me.
It took about 6 months for me to finally decide to actually sign the paperwork for Lynda and Mel to market the property and Lynda’s patience and guidance was magnificent. She was always at the end of the telephone when I needed questions answered and just a truly wonderful, genuine lady who was there to help me in any way possible, something very rare I have found these days, especially in Real Estate.
I have sold many properties over the years and I am sure that no-one showed me such consideration, kindness, courtesy and helpfulness – ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty.
There were no hassles, just words of encouragement, even helping clear a blocked drain! Mel even offered to do a few odd jobs around the property, at no charge!
I was extremely fortunate that my property sold at the very first Open House. Lynda even managed to obtain more money than I had intended to obtain for the sale. I was stunned! I believe in all, she took 3 or 4 hours to get the Contract signed and settled.
For me, the entire experience was ‘stress free’, Lynda took all of that on board on my behalf.
As Lynda and Mel are a ‘team’, on the day of the Open House more people turned up than anyone expected, so Lynda made a phone call to Mel to assist her and within a flash he was there as they are surely a great team, perhaps a little like Batman and Robin!
Then after the sale the service continued. Nothing, and I mean nothing, was a problem. Lynda and I spoke almost every day as she also helped sell some of my furniture to the new buyer. This isn’t what Real Estate Agents do, I thought! Obviously there were phone calls back and forth to me and the new buyer to enable this to all happen. No stress to me! Absolutely amazing!
As I have said previously, I had more to do with Lynda than Mel, but I am sure they kept each other in the loop, so to speak as that is how they seem to work, a true ‘team effort’.
From what I, personally, have seen of Lynda, she works extremely hard during the day, then at all times of the night she is writing Newsletters advising people of what is on the market, what is happening not only in the marketplace, but what is happening in the world. On the other hand, Mel is out doing Letter Box drops in his ‘spare time’!
They are obviously both tireless workers who do as much, or even more, than is possible to sell the properties they have listed as well as trying to find new listings on a daily basis.
In summary, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lynda and Mel to sell any property in any price range as between them they have the wealth of knowledge of the industry and the marketplace and will give an honest and realistic valuation of a property.
I can’t thank Lynda and Mel enough for all that they did for me and I wish them every success for the future as they are truly deserving of the fruits of their hard labour.

What a fantastic experience I have had buying my first home through MV Real Estate. I couldn’t have asked for a more seamless and professional service.
