The St Columba’s Centenary Raceday held 8th October 2016 at Doomben was a fabulous start to our school’s centenary celebrations.
Within the marquee Lynda Roberts from MV Real Estate and her son Ian, ran the Funny Money Bookie for the day.
Both Lynda and Ian put in a huge effort running the books for the races, ensuring not only quick wit on the odds, but also some light hearted banter with each bet placed. The professional yet light hearted nature of the Bookie stall gave the celebrations an added dimension of fun and frivolity. We received rave reviews from the parents, friends and teachers who attended, with many requests for a repeat effort from Lynda and Ian in the future!

I bought 80 Burn St, Camp Hill through Mel at MV Real Estate. I found him to be professional and went the extra mile. Not only did he find me a tenant within weeks, he fixed my taps, inserted some cleats for my blinds and replaced the dishwasher that started playing up when the tenants moved in.

Now we are settled back in my home town of Bangkok we have the time to share with you our experience with the team at MV Real Estate.
My husband, Ken was in the Holy Spirit Hospital sharing a room with a gentleman called Bill. They were discussing their lives and Ken mentioned we may want to sell our home to which Bill responded that his daughter was a real estate agent. Phone numbers were exchanged and the daughter, Lynda from MV Real Estate called and arranged to visit us at our Bribie Island home.
After much discussion we decided to entrust Lynda with the sale of our home. We returned to Thailand and with the help of another friend of ours Lynda organised the staging and cleaning of the home ready for sale as well arranging for the Pool Safety Certificate and regular maintenance of the lawns.
Open Homes and appointments were conducted on a regular basis and we were able to return and stay in the home whenever needed.
A buyer was found which meant we had to return to Australia to sort out what to keep and what to take back home. Lynda even helped us with a Garage Sale!
