Over the years I’ve sold many properties and dealt with dozens of agents so have tended to become a little sceptical at times.
With three somewhat difficult and adjacent properties to sell at Oxley I needed someone who would be willing to really work for me and with me to get them sold. Mel and the team from MV Real Estate (now Professionals MV Real Estate) certainly did that.
Despite it not being in their usual area they researched local statistics regarding sales and listings as well checking on the infrastructure and road networks that may affect the property. Property one sold relatively quickly and for the price I wanted, the other two had various complications attached and I put them up for auction with another local agent with no result.
I should’ve stuck with MV Real Estate! After the auction they went back to work for me and within a few months had both of the properties under contract.
What amazed me was the teamwork. Despite it being quite a distance for them both to travel, they didn’t hesitate with either Mel was always available for weekday or even weekend inspections. Within a short time I would have the feedback, sometimes not what I really wanted to hear but it was always honest and open.
It was their tenacity and determination to get them sold that impressed me the most. I felt it wasn’t just about the dollars to them (although that was obviously important!), it was about achieving a successful outcome for me to enable me to move on to my next project.
